An Update on the Backpack Program at Lawrence/Nelson
Donation Boxes Out in Communities
The Lawrence/Nelson Middle/High School has started taking action on their backpack program after receiving a $2,000 grant from Farm Credit Services. The students made a goal for each student to bring 3 items to reach a schoolwide goal of 400 items. We are also asking for the community's help in getting our backpack program off the ground. You can find donation boxes in the following businesses:

Dick's Place/Grocery
Ken and Al's
Post Office
Farmers & Merchants Bank
Nelson:
Post Office
CAPS Cafe
C & M
Commercial Bank
FFA, FBLA, and HOSA are all working cooperatively to make this happen, wrapping boxes to be put up in the communities this week and we would like to update the community on our progress & where to find the donation boxes. Please help us help our students if you can!
